My iPhone 4S was too expensive for me to take any chances with it - before I even turned it on for the first time, I applied these screen protectors and put it in a case. The application process went flawlessly, especially since I was working with an untouched, pristine surface. I also did the work in a shut bathroom after running a hot shower for 5 minutes. I didn't have a single issue with dust motes or hairs, and I have two cats and a very relaxed approach to housekeeping.

The "Good":
- Once on, this film becomes completely invisible, and doesn't compromise the clarity of the retina display at all. It also doesn't have the unfortunate "orange peel" effect you see with Zagg screen protectors. My boyfriend has one of those on his iPod Touch, and it looks terrible.
- Best of all, even with the front and back films applied, my phone still fit perfectly into the case (an Incipio NGP). I haven't had any issues with the case pushing up the corners or edges of the films.
- Fingerprints don't really bother me, but I can't say that this film makes them any more prominent than they would be on the naked screen.
- It's not tacky or sticky to the touch at all (unlike my boyfriend's Zagg film... poor guy!)
- I accidentally made a few light scratches with my pilled-up sweatshirt sleeve, but they were gone by morning... self-healing?

The "Bad": Nothing yet! :)

If you're looking for a sturdy protective film and you want your retina display to look its best, I highly recommend this set.

I have tried a couple films and this is the best one around. Thick enough to actually protect and clear and thin enough not to be noticed. I keep my phone in my pocket which sometimes has change or keys in it.
The crystal film is the best. The antiglare film softens the details on your screen. The film doesn't reduce screen touch sensitivity and is resistant to fingerprints.
I gave it 4 stars here rather than 5 because you can get it for half this price, only $14.95, at the manufacturer's site (or importer) powersupportusa.com .
The only problems were with installation. I ruined a film trying to install it the first time. The films are very susceptible to dust and fingerprints on the contact side. Install the film in an area as free of dust as possible, wash your hands to remove dust and oils, wipe the phone with a lint free cloth. One speck of dust under the film will create a small bubble. Despite the instructions there is no way to remove dust once it is on the contact surface, you just get more contamination fiddling with it. Also, touching the contact side will leave fingerprints that can't be removed. This applies to the edges and corners especially when installing.
When placing the film VERY carefully line it up with the screen at the top or bottom and roll the film onto the screen to avoid trapping bubbles. Doing this while holding the film just at the edges is hard. I am sure this is why they give you two screens because you are going to screw it up the first time. Apply the back film first to get the feel of the process. I don't think you even need a back protector but it is good for practice. If you place the film and are not totally happy with the orientation lift it back up at one corner with tweezers then pull it off and place it again. If you lift it at the corner with your fingernail and grab it with your fingers it will leave a permanent dull area at the corner where you touched the contact side. Good Luck

Hmmm it's been that long since I bought this back in Sept 2009. And I use it alot. I'm the kind of person that leaves the kitchen area to come back to find that I just burnt my pot. Well not with this one. I've done this alot with this pot and there's no sign of it being ruined. Still looks like new. I will most definitely look for Cuisinart products for future purchases.

That pot is beautiful and it works well my only complaint is that its easily damaged. I keep my pots and pans in the oven to store and just moving it from stove top to oven scratches it easily. The nice black finish is scrached up along the bottom and top outside rim of this pan. I don't think I would purchase this item again.

I bought this for my son who is 3. The size is 2T/4T. The sizing was fine, it was a little big, but I expected that. However, before I could even get the cape on him the velcro came unstitched and now I'll have to sew it back on before he can wear it. It also has a hole in the seam around the neck. I bought this brand new and am very disappointed in the quality of the product. Would NOT buy again.

I recieved this costume for my son for halloween. It arrived 10-29 and had stains on it. Since it was 2 days before halloween i did not have time to get it replaced and all the stores were sold out of spiderman so he had to wear it with the stains. Good thing he is only 2 1/2 and did not notice. If i were to order again i would not get from Amazon.

I bought this to use as a case for my video camera. It's very good quality construction, and has padding on the sides. I like the way the to covering folds over the zipper to protect from rain. (It claims to be waterproof, but I haven't tested that)

The camera itself fits in with about 1.5" of spare room above to put a couple of spare batteries, memory cards etc.

Another product I would recommend isTamrac M.A.S. Medium Lens Case (Black) if you don't need the extra space for batteries. Its a perfect fit for the camera, but no room for anything else. I like both of these cases a lot for carrying the camera attached to a belt.

I bought this for a Canon Vixia M30 flash memory HD camcorder. It is perfectly sized for this camcorder, and it allowed us to carry the camcorder within a backpack at Disneyland. We wanted something that gave us enough room in the backpack to also carry snacks & jackets. The camcorder slides into the carrier easily, but doesn't have much room to move around within it. It should be noted that this carrier does not have any pockets, so you'll need to find another way to carry whatever accessories you wish to bring along. This wasn't an issue for us (accessories stayed at hotel during the day).


Tamrac MX537801 Review by BookWorm (Ohio, USA)

Mine came in similar to the MEDIUM style with the "carrying handle" on the top instead of the loop as shown here, m.b. an older style. Very well designed: Not as rigid as Lowepro, easier to carry on your belt - not getting in your way in tight places (crowd, bushwalking) and stays close to your body w/o bouncing (good for long walks and short runs) due to a good balance and wide and rather rigid "belt loop". The zipper is easy to open with one hand w/o looking, not too tight as Lowepro, not too loose. The lid goes back w/o any additional efforts and closes the case almost like spring loaded. In Lowepro you have to pull it over. If you are not jumping or running really hard, you can move around with the unzipped case for quick lens change. The walls are a bit flexible, you can just drop the lens in or pull it out effortlessly. Could stuff Pentax DA 50-135 f2.8 with the reversed hood, perfect fit w/o the hood.

If you are looking for a large case, I strongly recommend to compare the Tamrac Large with Lowepro S&F Lens Exchange 200 AW (see my review) that is a bit bigger but still rather compact.

For MEDIUM size (posted a detailed review/comparison here) I also prefer the Tamrac or extremely well designed CaseLogic small lens case (the same height as the Tamrac but more narrow). 2 years ago I wasn't impressed with the CaseLogic cases, apparently they improved them. Nor sure about the CL large case, check out for yourself.

Very powerful string trimmer. I've had it a complete season plus and so far no problems. The auto string advances as needed. I had to disassemble the feed head only once so far; easily done. I refill original spool rather than purchase a new one when the string runs out. Rather simple to accomplish.

I don't think Black & Decker makes any good tools anymore. Took the Grass Hog XP out of the box and after assembly per instructions, plugged it in to give a try. After about ten minutes, the whole spool assembly fell off! Seems the factory missed a washer on the spool shaft and the fiber spacer burned off letting the whole assembly scoot down the flowerbed to the end of the lawn. After cussing out B&D for so shoddy a product, took back to the garage to find a nice brass washer to repair unit. Went back to trimming along the driveway and the factory wound string jammed up and it took a pair of pliers to dislodge one of the strings and finish the job. This will be my last Black & Junker tool!

POWER
The "Grass Hog" is powerful---as powerful as any gas trimmer I've used. It is particularly useful for cutting very heavy weeds. The dual string design makes it twice as effective as a one-string trimmer. I suspect that it would be ideal for "mowing" fairly large areas which are inaccessible to regular lawn-mowers.

CONTROL
Unlike my typical 1-string gas trimmer, which is in effect variable speed, the Grass Hog (and every other electric trimmer I've used) is one-speed. I find it difficult to control the Grass Hog for just edging grass along walls, or light cosmetic trimming. It tends to instead gouge out holes in my lawn. In contrast, with my gas trimmer, I could do most edging at "idle" speed with perfect control, and only rarely have to rev up for tough weeds. I can easily trim small weeds from my gravel driveway with my gas-trimmer without disturbing the gravel, but the Grass Hog flings the gravel at high speeds in all directions, at me, my cars, etc. I can easily dig out individual weeds in my flower garden, or pick-out individual weeds from a field-stone wall with my gas trimmer, but NOT with the Grass Hog.

AUTO-FEED
The auto-feed was not initially working. I lubricated the shaft where the line-spool fits on with some grease, and thereafter the autofeed worked fine. Part of the reason the auto-feed works well (when it works), is that the spools only hold a short supply of string. Because of the dual-string design, it is time-consuming and awkward to re-start the strings. I suspect that purchasing pre-loaded spools would get expensive. For most trimmers, the secret to keeping the auto-feed or bump-feed function working properly is to load only a short amount of string, and not too tightly. A soaking with WD-40 or silicon spray may help.

CUTTING RADIUS
The auto-feed on the Grass Hog only feeds about 3" of line on each side. 3" x 2 = 6" plus the 4" diameter of the spool housing = 10" radius rather than the advertized 14" radius. Since that is well short of the cutting guide in front, you have to raise the guide to cut along walls. On my 1-string gas trimmer, the spool is less than 3" in diameter, and the string extends at least 6"---I suspect that centrifugal force holds the string in a tighter cutting plane, which makes for more precise control.

ERGONOMICS
The lower hand grip is adjustable (for users of different heights) on most trimmers (gas or electric), but not on the Grass Hog. I'm 5'10" and it was too short for me---I had to lean over using it, which meant that I had a back-ache after using it for a half-hour. I suspect that it would be very unpleasant for anyone taller, or much shorter.

EVALUATION
The Grass Hog is probably a good choice for very heavy weed cutting, for individuals ca 5" 8" tall. It is "less than ideal" for shorter or taller individuals. The Grass Hog may be an ideal mower for clearing areas not accessible to normal lawn mowers, but it is "less than ideal" for precise or light cosmetic trimming. Since I use trimmers primarily for cosmetic trimming around rock walls and my garden, it was less than ideal for me. One session with my neighbor's Grass-Hog convinced me that having my gas-trimmer repaired would be a better use of my money.
