I'll be honest. I really wasn't expecting much from this stand. It was less than $200 but I needed something for my 32 in. Samsung LCD in a hurry. This thing is very sturdy and well built. It's an all metal frame with tempered glass shelves. The glass is smoked colored and looks awesome. It compliments the glass base of my samsung TV very well. The pictures on this website do not do it justice. Putting it together was very straight forward and I put it together in less than 40 minutes. All of the screws and tools come in separate red bags with part numbers on them. The instructions reference the part numbers so you don't use the wrong screws. I found it really straight forward and didn't run into any problems. The only blemish on the stand was the one I made by scratching the black powdered finish on the frame while putting it together. The metal underneath the coating is bright silver so it was very noticeable. Fortunately, the scratch is on the back of the frame so it is not visible from the front. But be careful putting it together or you'll have cosmetic blemishes all over the place. The provided allen wrench is very small and I tore the threads on it while tightening the frame. It's not a big deal though. It's a tall stand so it's great for watching tv in bed. Overall, this is a stand I can definitely recommend.

stand looks great. wife wanted something more modern looking so we chose this, we are very impressed with our choice. stand took about 1.5 hrs to put together. need to pay close attention as it is easy on a few of the steps to get parts on backwards.

I really like the look of this stand! I'm getting a 42" Flat Panel LCD TV along with it, and after searching around online and at stores, this was in my opinion the best value. I bought it on a Monday, and even with the slowest shipping option (free shipping), I received it that Thursday!

The assembly of this stand is pretty straightforward, and shouldn't take more than an hour. If you get this stand, which I recommend, just make sure to really pay attention to the directions and the orientation of all the pieces, or you'll have to backtrack a few times like I did!

Two negatives that I have with it:

1)(Small negative) It's a little low for me. If it were a few inches higher, it would be perfect. But even at its height, it's still fine.

2)(Big negative) Along the same lines...with the way the support bars are designed, the shelves are not tall enough to fit DVD's in upright!! Whats the deal?? You'd think if you were to design a TV stand, you would at give the shelves enough height for DVD's! Technically you can fit them in there, but you have to place them behind that horizontal chrome bar, and then make sure you have enough space to tilt each DVD at an angle in order to get it out...sheesh! Either that or just stack them on top of each other, if you don't mind it.

Besides those two low points (no pun intended :-) this is a nice stand, and overall I am glad I bought it.
