I love these tables. I have bought a total of 3 sets for my house, and have also bought as gifts for others. They are easy to put together, are extremely solid and sturdy, and I like the simple styling. I have done away with coffee tables and end tables by using these -- room seems larger and less cluttered as these just get stacked out of the way when not in use. Can also easily place just where and when needed at any seating location. The different sizes work for me too -- the smallest is just perfect for a drink and cell phone while sitting on the sofa. The largest becomes a portable stand for the laptop. I continue to find more places that one of the tables is just the right size for some longterm task (i.e., a plant table), thus why I keep ordering more.
The color is NOT consistent with the picture shown on the Amazon website. The first set of tables I bought years ago was that beautiful cherry color, as pictured. More recent sets have been much darker. The finish is not a refined lets-have-royalty-to-dinner type, but I find it more than satisfactory as it perfectly reflects the casual, utilitarian purposes I have for it. We have set drinks on them with no coasters, and there are no water rings. They have held up very well over the years of use.
I rarely write a review of any product, but felt inclined on this one because of the negative reviews from others. I LOVE THESE TABLES.

I was given a set of these tables as a present and just bought a second set for another room. They are real wood, very solid, and so easy to put together. I did put a protective finish coat on the top of each table since I use the two largest for food service. I will probably do the same on the second set. I found no flaws in the construction or finish of either set. In fact they are quite beautiful and rich looking. There is a noticeable difference in color between the two sets but this is not unusual when buying items at different times. Both sets are darker than the pictures with one having more of a dark walnut with gold undertones and the other being darker walnut with rich red undertones. The "nesting" makes them so convenient in my living room where space is limited but occasional extra table space is needed. I am using the second set as end tables in my family room but use the smallest table from each set as plant stands and they look great. I highly recommend these tables. They are a remarkable value.

Winsome Wood Nesting Table, Walnut These ,like all other Winsome products I have in my home ,are a very good investment. The tables arrived quickly and were assembled and ready to use in fifteen minutes. No scratches,cracks or damage to the parts. The tables each have a different stain color. Three feet away you will not notice. All in all, glad I have them.
