The chair looks a little more comfortable than it is. It's a little hard, but does offer good back support.

This is not an awful chair. It is a pretty good size for the average to larger person. It is comfortable. If you are shorter than 5'8" you may feel as though your feet dangle. It is solidly constructed, but there is one problem I can't get past. This chair squeaks when you first sit, rock, or move around in it. It seems to be a design defect, although I suppose it could have just been my chair. The squeaking is annoying and originates from the interface of leather on leather (not the mechanism). I am sensitive to squeaking sounds, so this is a dealbreaker for me, but it might not bother everyone. Also, the paddles that operate the mechanism were very hard to assemble.

The chair is very comfortable and has good back support with adjustable tension. I would have given 5 stars but it came with the wrong handle for the adjustment mechanism. I used a pair of vise-grip pliers for initial adjustment and decided not to go through effort of getting a replacement handle since I am only one who uses the chair.
