The stand comes with great instructions for how to assemble, even a dummy like me managed to do it without a problem though it took me a couple of hours.
It is heavier than it looks and supports without a problem my Samsung 46" LCD tv.
If you are looking for a nice looking stand to put in a corner- I reccomend it.

With a young son and his friends having frequent light-saber battles in the family room, we wanted to make sure that our new TV would have a solid home, but I didn't want to wall-mount it.

After looking at dozens of stands this one rose to the top. The price was right, the reviews were positive, and it fit the look we wanted.

The (heavy) package arrived slightly crushed on two corners so I half-expected to find a broken glass shelf or two, but everything was packed really nicely and arrived without a scratch. Assembly took a couple hours, but the parts were easy to identify, and the hardware was packed in a very thoughtful way, in a series of plastic bags clearly identified by letter corresponding to each assembly step. Several different sized Allen wrenches are included, but you'll want a couple screwdrivers also.

You'll also need another person to help hold the shelves after you've attached them to the back post but before the front legs/frame are attached. It's no big deal but I'm not sure one person could do it.

Once it's all assembled, it's very sturdy and solid. The whole thing feels like a very high quality piece. I opted to mount my TV to the stand itself, but you can opt to build the stand without the TV mount, in which case it's just three glass shelves.

This size stand (there's a smaller one also) easily holds two normal-sized components side by side on each shelf without being too crowded. It's a nice, clean look. The cable routing is easy and neat thru the back post.

About the look, this might be the only drawback and it's just my own opinion: this stand comes with veneer trim strips for two different shades of wood as well as brushed metal. This is a great idea, but if you want all-black, there's no black trim strips; you simply don't use any trim. The back of the brushed-metal strip is black but it doesn't look like it's really supposed to be seen that way. Without any trim, the stand looks a bit unfinished. My TV is a Sony 55" NX810, which has that monolithic 'single-sheet-of-black-glass' look but on this stand, it's all black, black, black! Incidentally, you can't change the color strips later on unless you take the stand halfway apart.

Anyway, we're very happy with this stand and recommend it highly!

Quality constructon, easy assembly, perfect for Samsung 55" LED corner mount application. A previous reviewer mentioned that there was no black trim inserts included and that if you wanted black you just left out the trim (which looks unfinished). The product does come with black trim on the reverse side of the silver trim insert. Warning: This thing is a dust magnet.
